AFT Hockey Academy

Back for Year 2!

AFT is offering a hockey school to help up and coming athletes learn from the pro’s!

Paul Szczechura, Al Szczechura, and John Parker-Jones, who share a combined 25+ years of professional hockey experience, will lead your athlete through on-ice development, with Athlete Farm tackling the off-ice strength and conditioning.

The AFT Hockey Academy will run through August 19th-22nd, 2024 at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre located in Brantford, Ontario.

Participants will Receive:

• 10 hours of on-ice instruction, working a wide range of skills including: Skating, stick handling, shooting, as well as team building and leadership games

• 4 hours of dry-land/off-ice training with AFT Coaches

• 4 hours of additional off-ice activities: Various sports, games, team building activities, and Hockey IQ

• AFT Hockey Jersey

Daily Schedule:

8:30am: Athlete Drop-Off

9:00-10:30am: On-Ice Session #1

10:45-11:45am: Dry-land

11:45-12:45pm: Lunch Break

1:00-2:00pm: On-Ice Session #2

2:15-3:15pm: Off-Ice Cool Down + Activities

3:30pm: Athlete Pick-Up
